Reporting into the Commercial Director, the Independent Account Manager owns the growth, retention, and development of Chilly’s key independent wholesale partners, sitting at the commercial core of our tiered distribution strategy with a primary focus on London.

This role is responsible for accelerating and expanding existing relationships while selectively acquiring new retail partners aligned to Chilly’s premium, design-led brand positioning. You will convert qualified pipeline into predictable purchase order (PO) revenue, focusing on growing accounts through product range expansion, seasonal drops, store footprint, and repeat ordering behaviour.

A key priority is developing new business through structured account planning and strong brand execution in-store. Working cross-functionally with Key Accounts, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, you will ensure best-in-class wholesale execution, accurate forecasting, and disciplined margin management—contributing to a scalable, global wholesale engine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and accelerate growth wholesale accounts, driving repeat revenue and long-term partnerships.
  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new wholesale independents primarily in London aligned to Chilly’s ideal customer profile (premium fashion independents, lifestyle, gifting, coffee shops and design-led environments).
  • Build and execute tailored account plans focused on:
    • Product range expansion (core bottles, seasonal collections, accessories)
    • Seasonal campaigns and product drops
    • Store rollout and distribution growth
    • Reorder frequency and sell-through optimisation
  • Manage opportunities end-to-end: from qualified lead through to PO receipt and operational handover.
  • Own quarterly and seasonal forecasting for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with stock and supply timelines.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline (e.g. HubSpot), ensuring pipeline visibility, clear deal stages, and next steps.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to support retail activations, brand storytelling, and in-store/online execution.
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure smooth order fulfilment, stock planning, and delivery timelines.
  • Represent Chilly’s at key trade shows, retail meetings, and industry events to strengthen relationships and generate new leads.
  • Ensure all leads and opportunities are accurately captured and progressed post-events.
Experience
  • 4–7 years’ experience in wholesale, B2B sales, or account management within lifestyle, design-led, or consumer goods brands (B2B Wave).
  • Proven track record of growing independent wholesale accounts with measurable revenue impact.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance revenue growth, forecasting accuracy, and margin discipline.
  • Experience working with premium or brand-led products where storytelling and presentation matter.
  • Confident operating cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Highly organised, process-driven, and comfortable working within CRM-led sales environments (HubSpot preferred).
  • Proactive, commercially curious, and motivated to build long-term account value over short-term wins.
Benefits
  • 25 days holiday + birthday day off.
  • Pension contribution.
  • Private healthcare and wellbeing support (including Bupa).
  • Life insurance.
  • Employee discounts and product allowance.
  • Cycle to Work and tech schemes.
  • Flexible working culture.
  • Ongoing development opportunities.
  • Regular team socials and perks platform access.
