About This Role
The Green Party of England and Wales is recruiting a Campaign Organiser to help deliver an ambitious and successful campaign programme across Derby City & Derbyshire in preparation for the Local Elections in May 2027.
Working closely with the East Midlands Field Organiser, local campaign teams, volunteers, candidates and elected representatives, the postholder will play a key role in building campaign capacity, coordinating volunteers and supporting the delivery of effective local election campaigns. Through strong organisation, relationship building and practical campaign support, the role will help turn local enthusiasm into well-planned, high-impact campaigning activity.

The successful candidate will be proactive, well organised and able to build positive relationships with a wide range of volunteers and stakeholders, helping to create an engaged and effective campaigning community across Derby & Derbyshire.
Campaign Delivery
Support the planning, coordination and delivery of local election campaigns, including campaign events, action days, phone banks and other volunteer activities.
Recruit, engage and coordinate volunteers while helping develop skills, confidence and long-term volunteer capacity across the local party.
Campaign Systems
Maintain accurate campaign records, databases, calendars, webpages and volunteer management systems, supporting effective coordination and reporting.
Stakeholder Support
Build effective working relationships with the Local Party Executive, campaign teams, councillors, candidates, volunteers and Green Party staff.
The role is remote within the UK with frequent travel around Derby City & Derbyshire. It reports to the East Midlands Field Organiser and has no line management responsibilities.
