Over 100 bottled beers and ciders, 30 flavoured Gins and 50 different soft drinks. Who are Chilled Pubs? It all started back in 2007 when Loren agreed to Richards crazy dream, and they together purchased the Bulls Head in Repton. Fast forward 17 years and they have a thriving pub business. With 7 gorgeous sites, over 500 employees, an industry leading food & drink menu and just to be a bit different, 7 mascot alpacas. Driven by their vision to become the top leading pub brand in the Midlands, they’re passionate about finding superstars to live and breathe their values and ensure all guests are truly wowed by their Chilled Pub experience.

What the role entails:

• Welcoming guests into the bar area, taking orders and dispensing a range of drinks from our fabulous variety of menus.
• This is fast paced role and requires excellent communication and organisation skills - we encourage interaction between our teams, and to our guests - so being a chatter box is ideal providing you can multi-task.
• Fulfilling guests orders accurately and as efficiently as possible whilst not compromising the quality of our products, or, the level of service provided.
• Having a full understanding of our menu and exceptional product knowledge so that you can confidently make recommendations to our guests and help answer any questions.
• Helping to prepare the bar areas (and the restaurant from time to time) for our guests’ arrival and ensuring the ambience is set appropriately in line with the Chilled standard (think lights, music, candles).
• Ensure we all remain safe, legal, and compliant in line with the various policies and processes we have in place (all will be briefed during your induction) - an example of this would be adhering to our ‘Challenge 25’ age verification policy.
• Providing knowledgeable and creative drink recommendations at our half-yearly ‘shake-off’ competitions.
• Keeping up to date with the latest drink trends & legislation (we’ll help with this).

Who are we looking for?

• Somebody who naturally aligns with our values, which are to be warm & friendly and genuinely ‘guest obsessed’.
• A positive and energetic person, driven to consistently provide a 'WOW' service for all our guests.
• Experience isn’t necessary; however, you must be eager to learn, and be comfortable working in a busy pub environment.
• Somebody who shares our passion for Chilled Pubs and is genuinely excited to be part of our team.
• Somebody with a flexible approach to work, this isn’t a typical 9-5 role, and both evening and weekend work will be required.
