About The RoleAs a Specialist Social Worker, you will be part of a small, dedicated team focusing on child sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation, missing children and contextual safeguarding, providing oversight and support to Children and Families staff and wider partners, and contributing innovative approaches to complex casework.
Responsibilities
Oversight and support of Children and Families staff and wider partner agencies.
Consider innovative approaches to complex casework.
Participate in training in child sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation, missing, contextual safeguarding and private fostering.
Develop and maintain relationships with multiāagency partners.
Apply solutionāfocused, strengthābased relationship practice models (e.g., Signs of Safety, Systemic Theory, Family Finding).
Share learning within the wider workforce.
Requirements
Experience in child sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation, missing and contextual safeguarding.
Strong relational skills and experience working with children and families.
Ability to develop relationships and support multiāagency partnership working.
Commitment to ongoing professional development through CPD.
Enhanced Level DBS Disclosure required.
