Salary: £34,434 - £44,075. Market Rate Supplement of £1,500 will apply to Level 3 Social Worker which is reviewed annually.
We are currently recruiting social workers to join our Children with a Disability Team which is part of the wider Assessment & Intervention Service.
Qualifications- Commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare
- Experience in a social care setting with ability to assess needs, identify appropriate social work interventions, plan, prioritise and evaluate
- Communication and collaboration skills to build productive working relationships in a multi‑agency environment
- Ability to engage individuals, families and carers and use their views to inform assessment, plans and interventions
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant trends, policies, regulations and safeguarding
- Proactively use supervision to reflect critically on practice, explore different approaches and understand the boundaries of professional accountability
- Can co‑work and mentor less experienced practitioners
- Willing to work towards Practice Educator Level 1 or 2 or already have a Practice Educator qualification
- A Restorative Practice approach to social work which involves innovation and locality working with high quality relationships at the heart of our approach
- Manageable caseloads with high quality professional development, induction, supervision and management
- Emotional wellbeing support including an emotional wellbeing champion to promote resilience
- Bespoke learning and development offer at all levels of social work enabling you to develop and progress your career; a well‑established career structure to develop managers and leaders
