We're excited to be recruiting Social Workers / Advanced Practitioners to join Barnsley Children's Services. In Barnsley, children and families are at the heart of everything we do. We are an ambitious service where relationships matter, and where social workers are supported to develop, thrive and build lasting careers.

This is a newly created team, bringing together practitioners with a variety of backgrounds to work in a responsive manner across all areas of children's social care. Adding to our already strong and permanent workforce, this role will support short and medium term need in service, for example to cover a period of secondment. This is a unique opportunity to gain varied experience across services while benefiting from the security and support of a permanent role.
