We are looking to recruit part-time Early Years Practitioner to provide high quality childcare at our Spring Cottage Nursery, Huddersfield. The hours for this vacancy will be 12.15 hrs to 18.15 hrs Monday to Friday.

Required:

  • Minimum of NVQ level 3 in early years education or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year working specifically with children
  • A caring and calming nature with lots of patience and a positive attitude
  • Be fun and relaxed with the children
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS learning outcomes and requirements
  • The ability to plan fun and engaging activities and plan in the moment taking their lead from the child
  • Strong and confident when communicating with parents, other professionals and colleagues

Desirable:

  • Highly experienced nursery practitioner
