The predicted salary is between 60335 - 66308 £ per year.

Required: ASAP (can be negotiated dependent on resignation dates)

Salary: SM1 1-6, FTE £60,628 - £66,108 (actual pro rata salary: £55,335 - £60,336)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week

Term time: 39 weeks (+ 2 weeks to be worked during school holidays at mutually agreed times)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Children’s Hospital School at Great Ormond Street (GOSH) and University College London Hospital (UCLH) as our new School Business Manager. The Business Manager will play a strategic role as part of the Senior Leadership Team under the overall direction of our experienced Headteacher.

This is a demanding role and requires a calm, pragmatic approach, an individual who is 'on point' with detail. The successful candidate will join the school at a pivotal stage in our development as we grow and develop our sites and staff teams within two world leading NHS Trusts. It is therefore essential that you are open to new ideas and initiatives and passionate about making a real difference in the lives of our unique pupils.

We have an ambitious vision to minimise the interruption and disruption to children and young people’s education so that academic progress and an interest in learning will continue, as far as their health permits during long stay hospital admissions.
