Salary: £27,808 - £30,815 per annum

Location: Hybrid Home Based and Hospice Sites, South West (near Bristol, Barnstaple or St Austell)

Working pattern: Full time, Permanent

About the role

Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) believes that children, young people and families can help shape better services by sharing their experiences, ideas and voices. This role creates meaningful ways for families to be heard and to influence the support they receive. Working with partner organisations, it will initially focus on building a strong partnership with Jessie May to help ensure family voices are at the heart of future developments.

What you'll be doing

  • Help establish and support Family and Children's Advisory Boards
  • Facilitate engagement activities and peer support opportunities
  • Gather and present family feedback
  • Ensure the experiences of children, young people and families directly inform service development, governance and strategic decision-making

You'll be based at home and at your local Hospice site (near Bristol, Barnstaple or St Austell), with travel across organisational sites and community locations as required.

What you'll bring

  • Experience supporting families to influence change
  • An interest in working alongside children, young people and families
  • A belief in the value of co-production
  • Enthusiasm, creativity and a commitment to inclusion
