Main duties of the job:
- As a Specialist Community Public Health Assistant Practitioner, you will have excellent communication skills and knowledge of working in the community with children and their wider family.
- You will be a solution-focused team player who will support the delivery of the universal offer in a 0-19 integrated neighbourhood team.
- You will work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure protection and the best health outcomes for children and families in Bolton.
- You will work within the community, dealing with clients from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of need.

We have a long and proud history of caring for generations of local people and can trace our roots back to 1814 with the first hospital in Bolton – the Bolton Dispensary in the town centre.
