Children’s Hospice South West is a registered charity dedicated to the provision of hospice care for life‑limited children and their families in the South West. What You Will Be Doing

We have a vacancy to join the Bank team at Little Bridge House. This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible and enthusiastic Administrator to play a key role in supporting our skilled and supportive multi‑disciplinary team at the unique setting of Little Bridge House. This role supports the Senior Care Administrator in the delivery of comprehensive and effective clerical and administrative support to all care services including Practice Education at the hospice.

Main responsibilities of the post include:

  • Dealing with incoming calls from families and professionals
  • Assisting with the administration of the referral process for children
  • Maintenance of the care database
  • Producing reports
  • Maintaining the records of the children that use our service

Applicants must be able to work on their own initiative, prioritise workloads, have an eye for detail, strong all‑round communication skills, and experience of working in a busy office. Strong IT skills including working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as experience using databases is essential.
