Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is a dedicated charity that provides vital support and care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the South West of England. Established in 1991, CHSW operates three hospices: Little Bridge House in North Devon, Charlton Farm in Bristol, and Little Harbour in Cornwall. Each hospice offers a safe and nurturing environment where families can find respite, support, and care tailored to their unique needs.

At CHSW, we believe that every child deserves the best possible quality of life, no matter how short it may be. Our team of highly trained professionals includes nurses, therapists, and support staff who work collaboratively to provide holistic care that encompasses physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. We also offer a range of services including short breaks, end-of-life care, and bereavement support.

Our vision is to create a world where every child with a life-limiting condition can live life to the fullest, surrounded by love and support. We strive to empower families by providing them with the resources and assistance they need during challenging times. Through our various fundraising initiatives and community engagement, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of children’s palliative care.

We are committed to inclusivity and diversity, ensuring that all families feel welcome and supported at our hospices. Our facilities are designed to be family-friendly, offering comfortable accommodations and recreational activities for siblings and parents alike. We also encourage volunteers to join our mission, as they play a crucial role in enhancing the experiences of the families we serve.

In summary, Children’s Hospice South West is more than just a care provider; we are a community of compassion, hope, and resilience. Together, we work towards making a positive impact on the lives of children and families facing the unimaginable. Join us in our journey to bring joy and comfort to those who need it most.
