The Children\'s Home of Kingston NOW HIRING Controller We have a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a dynamic, innovative, self-starting, and thorough individual with an Accounting or Financial background to assume the position of Controller in an integrative agency that works with three government oversites: OCFS, SED, and Federally funded aid. These unique programs are dedicated to addressing the needs of children who have gone through traumatic experiences in their lives. The Controller is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Fiscal Department, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Accountants, and is a member of the Finance Committee. Job duties include: Guiding the implementation of new financial initiatives Oversee cash management, including cash flow analysis, projected income and expenses Experience with OCFS and SED rate setting and reporting requirements, including preparation of annual SSOP and CFR Oversee Federal Grants, including indirect expense allocations, funds drawdowns, and quarterly and annual reporting Take the lead on the annual capital budget formulation in consultation with the Executive Team and Finance Committee Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations Able to work with a team in a practical, professional manner at all times Minimum Education & Experience: MBA, CPA, or equivalent experience with a Bachelor\'s Degree 3-5 years of finance experience in a non-profit environment Minimum of 2-3 years of leadership experience Computer fluency in a variety of software applications We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and generous time off.
