Brightpoint is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment for all students in our Early Childhood Education centers. The Inclusion Aide is responsible for assisting students who have disabilities or special needs with addressing safety, personal care, and other daily needs to ensure effective inclusion in classroom learning and activities. As the Inclusion Aide, you will help to maintain classroom environments that are developmentally appropriate, meet the needs of individual students, assist with executing individualized students' plans, and provide Conscious Discipline curriculum support.
Candidate Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 6 college credit hours in Early Childhood Development required.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with children with disabilities preferred.
- A valid driver's license, insurance and a reliable vehicle preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Job Details
- Compensation: Hourly: Range is between $16.99-$19.50 per hour, offers are commensurate with experience and bilingual candidates may receive additional compensation.
- Benefits: Medical/dental/vision insurance, 3+ weeks paid time off in the first year including the week between Christmas and New Year's Day (PTO increases with tenure); 11 paid holidays, supplemental insurance options, 401(k) with match.
- Location: Mitzi Freidheim Child & Family Center.
- Schedule: Full‑time, hourly.
- Student Loan Forgiveness: Brightpoint is an approved agency for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
