Responsibilities

As the Classroom Support Aide, you will be responsible for assisting the Teacher or Lead Teacher in implementing classroom activities and providing physical care of the children to ensure that safety rules are observed and implemented.

Candidate Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college coursework in early childhood education preferred.
  • Experience working with children and families strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Job Details

  • Compensation: Hourly: Range is between $16.99-$20.39 per hour, offers are commensurate with experience and bilingual candidates may receive additional compensation.
  • Benefits: Medical/dental/vision insurance, 3+ weeks paid time off in the first year including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day (PTO increases with tenure); 11 paid holidays, supplemental insurance options, 401(k) with match.
  • Location: 1701 West 63rd Street, Chicago, IL, 60636.
  • Schedule: Full-time, hourly.
  • Student Loan Forgiveness: Brightpoint is an approved agency for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
