  • Communicate with key child using British Sign Language

  • Work with and support child to provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care

  • Work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop

  • Work as part of a team to give support to other team members throughout the setting in communicating with deaf children

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents, communicating using sign language where required

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with professionals in the child’s team

We’re seeking a Community Support Worker proficient in BSL to join our dedicated team at a vibrant new setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and early childhood education, with strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with children and staff.
