£33,869 to £36,364 per annum JNC qualified

Opportunities in districts and countywide

  • If you do not already hold a JNC qualification, we will fully fund your qualification – you’ll start with us as a trainee on £29,644 to £33,066 per annum.

We currently have vacancies in the following locations : East Herts, Welwyn Hatfield and Watford.

HCC Services for Young People is the primary provider of youth work, careers education information advice guidance, work related learning, work experience and the review and maintenance of education health and care plans for young people post-16 / post school.

Our vision for young people is clear. We want young people to succeed, and by working for us you’ll be key to enable this to happen.

We work with vulnerable young people to address emerging needs, improve life chances, and reduce escalation to more expensive and intensive services. This includes supporting those challenged in education, their community or home life, to ensure a successful transition to adulthood. The young people are typically 11-17 and up to 25 for Care Leavers and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
