As part of the Centre Leadership team, you’ll play a pivotal role supporting and developing Educators & Teachers in your centre. You’ll form strong relationships with children, families and communities, and understand the significance of your role. Our purpose built, state‑of‑the‑art childcare centre in Salisbury Downs is eagerly waiting for the right leader to shape its future. About the role
- Assisting the Centre Director in managing day‑to‑day operations in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies.
- Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.
- Ensuring the delivery of high‑quality early learning programs by our passionate educators.
- Efficiently managing staffing rosters.
- Effectively handling the centre’s financial requirements in line with budget guidelines.
- Upholding consistent high‑quality standards for centre presentation and work practices.
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.
- Actively participating in attracting, converting, and retaining families through effective management of tours, enrolments, and orientation in collaboration with our Enrolments Team.
About you
- Hold a Diploma in Children’s Services or an Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Director in an early childhood setting.
- Current WWCC, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma qualifications.
- Exhibit an extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Development Framework, National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), as well as proficiency in CCS and QikKids.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Showcase the ability to lead and mentor a team of dedicated early childhood professionals.
- Express willingness to facilitate and coordinate ongoing professional development training for educators.
- Demonstrate the ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into daily operations.
