For this Trustee role we are particularly seeking individuals with demonstrable experience in education for children with special educational needs, particularly with insights into school governance. All trustee roles will be subject to background vetting, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (which may include overseas checks) which will be maintained by Childhood First for the duration of their term.
Application Requirements:
- A supporting statement of no more than one side that explains why you are interested in joining our Board of Trustees and the experiences and qualities you believe you can bring in order to be successful in post.
- Please tell us if there are any dates during the selection process when you would not be available to participate.
- If you have a disability and identify any barriers in the job description or person specification, please tell us.
- Please note that successful applicants will be asked to provide details of professional referees and will need to complete a standard DBS check.
- We would also be grateful if you would complete the Equality and Diversity monitoring form and attach it to the email with your CV and the statement. This form is for monitoring purposes only and is not treated as part of your application.
