We are recruiting for a full time Senior Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner and require an experienced and enthusiastic individual to work and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We will pay a competitive rate of pay depending on experience.
Responsibilities will include ensuring that provision is of the highest quality through providing a safe, stimulating, caring and child-centered learning environment.
The successful individual will have the following qualifications, training and experience:
- Minimum HNC/SVQ level 3 in a relevant childcare qualification and be able to register with SSSC.
- Experience of planning, observations and assessments as well as preparing and undertaking learning experiences both indoors and out that support children’s learning and development.
- Knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence.
- Knowledge of GIRFEC and Building/Realising the Ambition.
The Nursery is open Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm, our core hours are 8am - 6pm shifts will vary within these times.
