The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Room Leader to take responsibility for one of our rooms. You will lead a small team, ensuring outstanding care and education while maintaining the highest standards expected within a private nursery setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of early years practitioners
  • Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and engaging environment for all children
  • Observe, assess, and track children’s development
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
  • Ensure full compliance with safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and care

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum requirement)
  • Experience working within a private nursery or similar setting
  • Previous leadership or senior practitioner experience (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Passionate, reliable, and proactive approach
