This is a fantastic opportunity if you are a qualified Early Years Teacher, and want to work in a beautiful purpose-based nursery near Barnet. This role is a team-based role working closely with the Room Leader and a wider team of dedicated nursery educators. The role is full time, working 40 hours per week (this is not a term time only role), however you do benefit from 2 weeks holiday in August, plus your annual holidays.

You will be based in a classroom of up to 32 children and will play a key part in the day-to-day life of the room from teaching, supporting routines and working alongside colleagues to deliver high-quality practice. As the Early Years Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a learning environment to support, nurture and inspire children's development and learning. You will have the experience, knowledge and skill to teach in line with the EYFS curriculum.

You will be an experienced Early Years Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status. You will have a broad and comprehensive understanding of the early years curriculum and children's learning with the ability to use this appropriately in lesson delivery. You will oversee the learning, development and attainment of the children's progress within the nursery and have the capacity to lead and advise other colleagues to ensure a holistic and individual approach to the children's learning. As an Early Years Teacher, you will work closely with the senior Leadership Team, embed and continually monitor the education systems and programmes offered within the Nursery.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • QTS, EYITT or EYT status.
  • Experience in caring for young children aged 0‑5 years.
  • The ability to manage a group of children.
  • Experience in assessing children's development and planning activities to support their ongoing attainment and growth.
  • The ability to work within a multi-subject team.
