This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Early Years Teacher who wants to work in a beautiful purpose‑based nursery near Barnet. This full‑time role (40 hours per week, not term‑time only) is a team‑based position working closely with the Room Leader and a wider team of dedicated nursery educators.
Responsibilities
- Play a key part in the day‑to‑day life of a classroom of up to 32 children, teaching, supporting routines and working alongside colleagues to deliver high‑quality practice.
- Create a learning environment that supports, nurtures and inspires children’s development and learning, teaching in line with the EYFS curriculum.
- Oversee the learning, development and attainment of the children’s progress within the nursery.
- Lead and advise other colleagues to ensure a holistic and individual approach to the children’s learning.
- Work closely with the senior Leadership Team, embedding and continually monitoring the education systems and programmes offered within the Nursery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), EYITT or EYT status.
- Experience caring for young children aged 0‑5 years.
- Ability to manage a group of children.
- Experience assessing children’s development and planning activities to support their on‑going attainment and growth.
- Ability to work within a multi‑subject team.
