This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a Nursery in Stafford, where children can explore and learn in a fun, loving and nurturing environment.
As a Room Leader you will lead the team and be responsible for maintaining a high quality of childcare. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the health and safety of all children in your care, including allergies and risk assessments.
- Managing the team's performance.
- Providing a happy and stimulating environment for the children and capturing their learning moments.
- Managing all aspects of the baby room.
- Experience as a key person, including writing assessments and observations.
- Following and implementing all policies and procedures set out by the nursery.
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
- Experience of working with children aged 0-5 years, preferably with baby room experience.
- Full and relevant level 3 qualification in Early Years or recognised equivalent.
- Current Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices and relevant safeguarding/child protection training.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- An excellent knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years and a clear understanding of the EYFS.
- Enhanced DBS check required for all successful applicants.
Level 3 Early Years qualification (required).
