The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner and want to join a beautiful nursery, walking distance from Waterloo station. The hours for this role are 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You would be part of a team that is proud and striving to reach Outstanding. To make this happen, we need brilliant people who can inspire and deliver excellent care to those around them.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
  • Be the key person for a group of children.
  • Observe, monitor and record the progress of the children identifying the next steps that will support their learning and development.
  • To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room, reflective of the EYFS.
  • Support students, volunteers, unpaid staff and students undertaking work placements, ensuring they are given the proper support to acquire the skills and knowledge to work effectively within the setting.
  • To work in partnership with parents and carers.
  • To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • Full and relevant level 3 qualification in Early Years or recognised equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices and relevant safeguarding/child protection training undertaken, and the ability to meet annual training update requirements.
  • Current experience and training in the EYFS.
  • A high degree of professionalism.

All successful applicants will be required to have an Enhanced DBS carried out.
