We are a small and truly unique childcare setting, and what makes us special is our warm, supportive, and genuinely passionate team. Our nursery is cosy and homely, the kind of place where everyone knows each other well and where children feel safe, loved, and happy.

We care for just 8 children in our 12 room, 8 toddlers, and 8 preschoolers, which keeps our days calm, personal, and meaningful. Our team of six is close-knit, friendly, and always ready to support one another. We’re positive, enthusiastic, and we all share a deep love for early years.

We often say our nursery is a hidden gem, and to us, it truly feels like a second home. In fact, in the last 10 years, we’ve only opened a couple of positions; people simply love being part of our little family. What We’re Looking For in a Childcare Practitioner:

  • Previous hands-on experience in a nursery setting
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare
  • A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to use your own initiative
  • A genuine passion for working with children that shines through every day

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support children in their daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Plan and implement engaging educational programs that promote early childhood development.

  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including Paediatric First Aid protocols.
