Established in 1993, Cherubs Nurseries is a family-run business on a mission to give all children the personalities, skills and experiences they need to take on the world, without limitations. Central to our approach (inspired by Montessori, Hygge, Reggio and Forest School) is our Community Life work which aims to make the communities we serve better places to live, work and grow up in. Cherubs Longdale is a modern, rural 90-place nursery in Ravenshead, Nottingham. Being a car driver is essential to be part of this established and long-serving team. Set in just under an acre of beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside, with some bus links.

What you will be doing
- Work as part of the Childcare Team to provide an amazing service, for both our children and families.
- Ensure the children's environment and your nursery is kept safe, secure and clean at all times ensuring safeguarding policies are adhered to.
- Be a role model for the children at all times, whilst demonstrating best practice to your colleagues.
- Give parents and carers a warm welcome and concise handover at the end of the day.
- Complete Nursery In A Box for all your key children, ensuring you meet targets and provide detailed and relevant accounts for each child, underpinned by the EYFS.
- Take pride in your room and nursery, ensuring it is presented well with organised resources, engaging displays with an inviting layout.
- Attend both in-house and external training, as required. Some of this may be outside of working hours, for example on a weekend.
- Assist in the thorough planning and successful delivery of a variety of activities (both indoor and outdoor) to maintain the children's interests and to ensure the development of all children in-line with their own needs.
- Attend all staff events including parents evening, staff meetings and summer fairs, some of these may be out of hours and on weekends.
