Hours
- 30 hours+
- What you’ll be doing
- Work as part of the Childcare Team to provide an amazing service for both our children and families.
- Ensure the children’s environment and your nursery is kept safe, secure and clean at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies.
- Be a role model for the children at all times, while demonstrating best practice to your colleagues.
- Give parents and carers a warm welcome and concise handover at the end of the day.
- Complete Nursery In A Box for all key children, ensuring targets are met and detailed, relevant accounts are provided for each child, underpinned by the EYFS.
- Take pride in your room and nursery, ensuring it is presented well with organised resources, engaging displays and an inviting layout.
- Attend both in‑house and external training, as required, which may include outside working hours such as weekends.
- Assist in thorough planning and successful delivery of a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to maintain children’s interests and support development in line with their needs.
- Attend all staff events, including parents’ evening, staff meetings and summer fairs, some of which may be outside regular hours and on weekends.

Requirements
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Completion of a "Keeping Children Safe" Form.
- DBS check.
- At least two satisfactory employment references.
- Some roles may also require a 5‑year employment history.
