Location: Field-based role with regular travel across an allocated cluster of nurseries, plus our Head Office and EduBase (Newport Pagnell).

Contract: Permanent | 37.5 hours per week | 52 weeks per year.

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday.

Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum (pro-rata).

About You:

  • You are an experienced and passionate early years educator and assessor who holds a DfE-approved Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above.
  • Holds a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA).
  • Has proven experience supporting learners to successfully complete apprenticeship programmes.
  • Uses observations of practice and e-portfolio evidence to identify gaps in knowledge, skills, and behaviours, providing targeted support to enable timely completion.
  • Is confident delivering face-to-face group training, primarily from our Training Academy, and occasionally from nurseries or training venues (including Winchester).
  • Clearly communicates apprenticeship standards and how learners can meet them successfully.
  • Is a strong advocate for safeguarding, prioritising the wellbeing of children, learners, and colleagues at all times.
  • Enjoys collaborative working, contributing to standardisation meetings, course reviews, and quality improvement activity.
  • Works effectively with Functional Skills Tutors and supports exam invigilation where required.
