Location: Grasshoppers Day Nursery | Aylesbury | HP21 9PD
Contract: Fixed-term for 9 months | 20.5 hours/week | 52 weeks/year
Working pattern: Monday & Tuesday - 9am-6pm | Friday - 7:30am-12pm
Salary: £25,937.60-£31,158.40 per annum (pro-rata) | £12.47–£14.98 per hour

About you
- You are a qualified early years professional: You hold a DfE approved early years qualification at level 2 or above, ideally with some experience supporting young children who live with SEND.
- You are skilled in creating opportunities for learning: You will use your knowledge of child development and the EYFS to implement high quality, engaging activities that are aligned with children’s individual needs and care plans and inspire them to reach their full potential; observing, assessing and recording their progress.
- You are an advocate for safeguarding: You will ensure every child feels safe, valued, and happy and their well-being is promoted.
- You are collaborative: You enjoy working in partnership with others and will work with the SENDCO and other colleagues, effectively communicating and building strong and positive relationships; your ‘parents as partners’ approach fosters strong relationships between the nursery and our families.
