Join Childbase Partnership and lead something extraordinary at Lime Grove Day Nursery, Hemel Hempstead. This is a permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, all year round, with flexible working options – choose a 4 or 5 day week. Shifts are between 07:00 and 18:30, Monday to Friday. Salary ranges from £42,178.50 to £55,419 per annum (pro rata) plus a discretionary bonus.

Role Overview

This role involves shaping a nursery, inspiring the team, and delivering exceptional early years education. As nursery manager, you’ll lead with confidence, ensure high standards of care, comply with EYFS, and safeguard children.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 3 (or above) early years qualification (DfE approved)
  • Proven experience managing a large nursery setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and delivering outstanding practice
  • A natural coach and mentor, developing high-performing teams
  • A strong advocate for safeguarding and wellbeing
  • Commercially aware, working closely with senior leaders to deliver occupancy, financial, and retention targets
