Location: Cedar Park Day Nursery, Twyford, RG10 9PP.
Contract: Permanent – 17.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Working pattern: Monday–Friday, 15:00–18:30.
Salary: £12.87 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery.
- Re‑stock supplies in bathrooms and kitchens, empty bins, sweep and mop floors.
- Perform high‑level dusting and basic cleaning duties.
- Support the kitchen team with washing‑up duties.
- Take care of laundry for nursery use.
- Ensure the well‑being of every child and adult by upholding a safe environment, including safeguarding responsibilities.
- Apply COSHH knowledge to maintain a safe workplace.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a professional housekeeper or cleaner.
- Knowledge of COSHH and ability to apply it in the workplace.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Collaborative mindset and respectful relationship building skills.
- Ability to conduct safeguarding practices and protect child and adult safety.
