The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.

Location: Cedar Park Day Nursery, Twyford, RG10 9PP.

Contract: Permanent – 17.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Working pattern: Monday–Friday, 15:00–18:30.

Salary: £12.87 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery.
  • Re‑stock supplies in bathrooms and kitchens, empty bins, sweep and mop floors.
  • Perform high‑level dusting and basic cleaning duties.
  • Support the kitchen team with washing‑up duties.
  • Take care of laundry for nursery use.
  • Ensure the well‑being of every child and adult by upholding a safe environment, including safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Apply COSHH knowledge to maintain a safe workplace.

Qualifications

  • Experience working as a professional housekeeper or cleaner.
  • Knowledge of COSHH and ability to apply it in the workplace.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Collaborative mindset and respectful relationship building skills.
  • Ability to conduct safeguarding practices and protect child and adult safety.
