Location: Garsington Road Day Nursery, Cowley, Oxford, OX4 2DQ
Contract: Permanent – 37.5 hours per week – 52 weeks per year
Working pattern: 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday (alternatively 4‑day or 4.5‑day compressed week)
Salary: £25,389 – £30,517.50 per annum (pro‑rata) (£13.02 – £15.65 per hour)
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer care, welcoming visitors and responding to enquiries by phone, email and face‑to‑face in a polite, professional manner
- Log all enquiries, maintain family records and create accurate invoices using computer‑based systems
- Assist the Nursery Manager with ordering, diary management and other administrative tasks
- Advocate for safeguarding, ensuring children feel safe, valued and their well‑being is promoted
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in a busy front‑of‑house role
- Strong IT skills with attention to detail; proficiency in computer‑based systems
- Good understanding of safeguarding principles and practices
- Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively and work confidently in a team
- Right to work in the United Kingdom (no visa sponsorship)
