Location: Emscote House Day Nursery, Leamington Spa, CV32 5DE.

Contract & Working Hours: Permanent | 37.5‑40 hours/week | 52 weeks/year. Working pattern: Varied shifts Monday‑Friday between 07:30‑18:30.

Salary: £36,150.40‑£36,878.40 per annum (pro‑rata) | £17.38‑£17.73 per hour.

About the Role: Join Childbase Partnership and be part of something extraordinary. As a Team Leader you will manage a classroom for 0‑5 year olds, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment and leading your team to deliver high‑quality early years care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement and review learning activities that promote development through play.
  • Record and assess children’s progress and adjust learning plans accordingly.
  • Ensure every child feels safe, valued and happy, and support their overall well‑being.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents, building strong and positive relationships.
  • Lead, empower and support the team to achieve outstanding care and professional growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • DfE approved early years qualification at level 3 or above.
  • Minimum of two years working in an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and experience working as a Key Person.
  • Proven commitment to safeguarding and child protection principles.
  • Experience in collaborative leadership, effective communication and team management.
