About Child.org & Charity Concierge
Child.org is an international charity working to make pregnancy and birth safer for women and babies in Kenya, where maternal mortality is nearly twice the global average. Since 2015, our flagship fundraising product - Charity Concierge - has partnered with some of the UK, Ireland and Europe's most loved festivals to deliver premium, donation-based concierge services; elevating the festival experience for guests while raising vital funds for our work. Our trolley rental service launched in 2025 and has quickly become one of Charity Concierge's most lucrative offerings with 60% of all profits going directly to Child.org.
The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic, capable Trolley Manager to join our small on-site team. You'll be one of the four operational leads for the Trolley Service at each festival - keeping the service running smoothly, encouraging volunteers to hit fundraising targets and ensuring customers are happy. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that suits someone who thrives in a festival environment and has experience managing people or running operations under pressure. While we hope to find candidates who can commit to all three festivals, we understand this may not always be possible - please clearly state your availability in your application.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong interpersonal skills, that can communicate to volunteers and the general public effectively
- A confident leader with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Confident public speaker - you can deliver the briefing for 20-30 volunteers.
- Someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Someone who has experience working in events and/or managing a team.
