Overview
Sure Shift is looking for experienced, reliable residential childcare workers to support children in Ofsted-regulated homes across London and the Southeast.
You will work as part of each home's team, offering care within their established plans.
Responsibilities
You will support children in their daily routines, assist with learning and recreational activities, and help to create a safe, caring environment.
You will not be responsible for running the home, but you will work closely with the team leads.
Qualifications
- At least six months' experience in a children's residential setting
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Current safeguarding certificate
- English language - Advanced

Compensation and Benefits
Direct PAYE employment.
Pay starts at £13.50 per hour and can rise to £16.50 per hour through a transparent Points System that rewards reliability.
Emergency cover shifts are paid at £18 per hour.

Schedule and Flexibility
Shifts are flexible – days, nights, and weekends – and you can book around your own life. There are no fixed weekly hours, and you can choose the shifts that suit you.
