We are seeking an engaging, observant and committed Nursery Practitioner who understands the importance of prepared environments, independence and good practice. You will work closely with your Room Leader and management team to deliver authentic Montessori practice within the EYFS framework, supporting each child's individual development through careful observation, intervention and guidance. This role suits someone who is proud of their practice, values structure and consistency and wants to grow with a developing Montessori group.

About the Abbey Road Setting: Abbey Road is a stand‐alone Montessori nursery with the space and flexibility to create a truly calm, home‐from‐home learning environment. As part of the opening team, you will:
- Help establish classroom routines and expectations
- Shape the culture and standard of practice from the outset
- Work within a supportive structure led by experienced Montessori operators
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or a Montessori qualification or Montessori training (preferred)
- Experience working in a Montessori or child‐led setting
- Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
- Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Calm, reliable and professional approach

Beckett House Montessori is a growing early years group with a well‐loved nursery in Angel, Islington, known for its warm, home‐from‐home atmosphere and high‐quality care. We are now opening a brand‐new site at Abbey Road in April 2026.
Our leadership team previously founded Mace Montessori, a successful 10‐site Montessori group across London. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be part of the founding team for this site, helping to establish practice, routines and culture from day one.
