We are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA / Estimator) to join one of the South East's leading accident repair groups. Based at a modern, manufacturer-approved bodyshop in Shepperton, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that values quality, teamwork, and employee wellbeing. You will play a key role in assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and ensuring a smooth customer journey from inspection to handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately assess vehicle damage and produce detailed repair estimates
  • Identify required repairs and parts using strong mechanical knowledge
  • Ensure repairs meet NVQ standards and internal quality controls
  • Liaise with customers, insurers, and workshop teams professionally
  • Manage customer handovers efficiently and accurately
  • Upsell additional services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Maintain high attention to detail across all assessments

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator role
  • ATA or NVQ qualification desirable but not essential
  • Strong technical and mechanical understanding of vehicle repairs
