Job Purpose
To deliver the therapy area medical education programme, including Chiesi-led initiatives and third-party conferences across the CARE business unit. Working closely with the marketing team, the role manages the end-to-end delivery of events in line with Chiesi Standard Operating Procedures and the ABPI Code of Practice, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused experiences that support the strategic plan.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of medical education events for the therapy area in line with the strategic plan (60% Neonatology, 40% Transplant)
  • Coordinate the operational delivery of the medical education programme, including logistics, materials, and onsite support where required
  • Support the approval, delivery and post-event feedback processes across in-person, virtual and third-party events
  • Ensure all event activities are delivered on time, within budget, and compliant with company SOPs and the ABPI Code of Practice
  • Develop and maintain event project plans, ensuring the marketing and wider cross-functional teams are kept informed of timelines and progress
  • Support event budget tracking and financial processes, including PO management and transfer of value
  • Support the preparation and management of supplier and customer contracts in line with company SOPs
  • Coordinate the development and approval of marketing and event materials through internal review processes
  • Maintain accurate records within Chiesi CRM systems
  • In conjunction with the marketing team, support speakers with coordination activities, including content approval processes, attendee communications, and event logistics
  • Use AI and digital tools where appropriate to support event planning, coordination, and content preparation

Profile

  • Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders and communicate effectively
  • Highly organised, with strong time management and attention to detail, even when managing multiple tasks
  • Able to work in line with company SOPs, with a strong attention to detail and a willingness to quickly build knowledge of ABPI requirements
  • Comfortable using digital tools and willing to adopt AI-supported solutions to improve efficiency and organisation
  • Flexibility to travel
