Role Description
The Shift Manager Front of House is a full-time, on-site role based at the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Leeds. This role oversees front-of-house operations during assigned shifts, ensuring guests receive outstanding service and a consistently high-quality dining experience. Responsibilities include leading and coaching Team Members, managing shift assignments, and supporting training to maintain service standards and food safety practices. The Shift Manager Front of House monitors order accuracy and speed of service, resolves guest concerns, cash handling and coordinates with kitchen leadership to optimize workflow. Additional duties include maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, supporting sales and promotions, and assisting with basic administrative and opening/closing procedures as needed. As the Shift Manager of Front of House you will be reporting to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager of the Store.
Qualifications:
- Strong Communication skills and the ability to provide clear direction and feedback to Team Members.
- Demonstrated Customer Service experience, with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
- Experience in Training team members, supporting onboarding, and reinforcing operational procedures.
- Understanding of Sales principles, including suggestive selling and supporting restaurant-level sales goals.
- Previous experience in QSR/FSR leadership is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate physical tasks.
- Good Numerical and cash handling understanding is mandatory.
