We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Breakfast Waiter/Waitress to provide excellent service during breakfast hours. The successful candidate will ensure guests enjoy a welcoming dining experience by delivering attentive service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the smooth operation of the breakfast service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Present menus and explain breakfast options, specials, and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Refill drinks, clear tables, and ensure guests' needs are met throughout their meal.
- Prepare and set up the breakfast service area before opening.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas, tables, and service stations.
- Restock food, beverages, crockery, cutlery, and condiments as required.
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Process payments accurately and balance receipts when required.
- Follow food safety, health and safety, and company policies at all times.
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient service.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, cafés, or hotels is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
