We are seeking an exceptional candidate with the energy, passion and creativity to work as the Exams Officer in our thriving All-Through school. The role would mainly be in the Secondary phase of the school, overseeing the delivery of GCSE examinations, with support for the external Primary assessment also required.
The successful candidate will work on average 22.5 hours a week, mainly during the school term. There will be times of the year (specifically during May and June) where they would be needed in school Monday to Friday to oversee the examination season, with early and later finishes during this time. Time off in lieu would be granted outside of these periods to accommodate this.
Outside of the external examination and assessment periods, the remaining working hours could be delivered with a level of flexibility, in discussion with the Senior Leadership Team. Approximately seven days of school holiday working is required to fulfil the role. For approximately 5.5 hours a week, the successful candidate would also provide support to the school’s two SENDCos, helping with compliance paperwork and EHCP applications.
This role would be well suited to someone with either school or administrative experience, who is looking to lead a team and deliver a vital part of the school’s provision for our learners.
