Learning Assistant – Fixed Term until 30 June 2026. Pro rata of Β£25,582 per annum (for details on the pro rata salary, see attached job descriptions). Up to 32 hours per week, 36 weeks per year or 14.8 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

As a Learning Assistant, you will support students requiring additional help with their programmes of study across various areas within College, creating positive relationships with them and assisting them in a classroom or workshop setting. This will include students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioural and mobility needs. The work you do as a Learning Assistant will ensure our students have a rewarding and fulfilling experience at college.

Qualifications

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have experience of working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities, as well as effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. A GCSE (or equivalent) in English at grade C/4 or above is also essential.
