This role is for an enthusiastic and dedicated GCSE English Lecturer who will deliver teaching, assessment and support across the Central and East Brighton campuses. You will work within a collaborative, inclusive learning environment, making a significant impact on students’ English progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess GCSE English lessons, ensuring curriculum requirements are met.
- Support students’ individual learning needs and encourage their development of language skills.
- Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate record‑keeping for student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inspiring and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification or higher in English.
- English and maths qualifications at Level 2.
- Teaching qualification is preferred; if not held, a willingness to obtain one is essential.
