Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of qualifications including Level 3 OCR Cambridge Technical, Level 2 NCFE Diploma in Skills for Business and Level 2 Property Services.
- Work closely with the manager and the departmental team, sharing knowledge and skills with students to help them achieve at the highest level.
- Drive continuous improvement within the college, promote attendance, participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review of activities within the subject area.
- Contribute to various open evenings, parent evenings and similar events as required.
Qualifications
- Relevant industrial or subject experience in a business/property services environment.
- Previous relevant teaching experience, preferably within FE, and a willingness to gain a professional teaching qualification.
- Enthusiastic, forward-thinking and friendly attitude towards students and colleagues.

Remuneration and Working Pattern
- Pro rata of £27,785 – £43,325 per annum (i.e. £22,228 – £34,660), 29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

- We are always looking for people from industry to get into teaching. If you have never worked in education before, don’t worry – we offer a fully funded Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship, plus other alternative options.
