Are you passionate about supporting learners to achieve their full potential? We\’re looking for a compassionate, proactive, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Learner Mentor. In this rewarding role, you will:
- Provide one-to-one mentoring and pastoral support to students across a range of courses.
- Help learners overcome personal, social, and academic barriers to success.
- Work closely with curriculum teams, support services, and external agencies to ensure learners are fully supported.
- Promote wellbeing, resilience, and positive engagement in learning.

Responsibilities and requirements include:
- Experience working with young people or adults in an educational, mentoring, or support capacity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- A good understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and external partners to support learner progress.
- A flexible, empathetic, and learner-centred approach.

The working pattern for this role will be discussed at interview. The salary is pro rata of £25,783 – £26,185 per annum, for 32 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (fixed-term contract until 1 July 2026).
