Chichester College, part of the Chichester College Group, is seeking a Teaching and Learning Manager for the GCSE English and Maths department. The role oversees provision for adult learners returning to education as well as the 16-19 learners resitting GCSEs. While GCSE Maths and English are delivered within curriculum teams, the Teaching and Learning Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of teaching and learning in every lesson.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, dynamic manager who can drive quality improvement while working closely with other Teaching and Learning Managers across the College. The role requires extensive experience of the GCSE system, a strong background in managing staff, and a clear commitment to continually raising standards to ensure all learners receive consistently high-quality teaching and learning. Experience of working with exam boards, using data to inform improvement, and getting the best out of individuals and teams would be a distinct advantage.
