Lecturer in STEM - Computing and IT [Ref: CC1930] in Chichester

Are you an experienced and passionate digital computing and IT professional looking to help shape our students' future careers in a fast growing industry? The STEM department are keen to recruit a highly effective and innovative lecturer who can deliver on a wide range of computing, digital and IT programmes, ranging from Entry level through to Level 3 programmes for 16-18 year olds and adult learners.

We welcome applications for this exciting opportunity from qualified individuals and from candidates who are new to teaching and have relevant and applicable subject or industry experience in computing and IT with a sound knowledge of programming languages, including python and C#.

As part of our computing and IT team, you will need to have a passion for teaching as well as an imaginative and creative approach in the classroom, with a focus on student learning. You will be able to deliver engaging and inspiring teaching, learning and assessment using up to date resources and have an ability to adapt teaching styles for the learners on these courses.

We are always looking for people from industry to get into teaching so don't worry if you have never worked in education before. We offer a fully funded Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship, plus other alternative options.

You will be joining the College's STEM department at an exciting time. Our new multi-million pound STEM facility opened in September 2025. Standing at four storeys, the new building is now home to a suite of modern teaching and interactive spaces including an array of modern science laboratories and complements our existing computing suites and lab network.
