Lecturer in Health & Social Care (Maternity Cover)

Brighton Met College, part of the Chichester College Group, seeks an experienced and passionate professional to inspire the next generation of nurses, carers and Social Workers.

The role is a 52‑week fixed‑term maternity cover position, 25.9 hours per week, with a salary of £27,785–£43,325 per annum (pro‑rated).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality lectures and learning to engage students.
  • Develop students' knowledge and skills to excel in health and care careers.
  • Ignite and sustain students’ passion for the health and care sector.
  • Prepare and present course content using innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications

  • Experience in health, care or a related professional field.
  • Strong passion for teaching and developing students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.
